Our Story

It started in 2015 when two friends, Ben and Gabriel decided to quit their jobs to embark on an adventure building a street food truck. Ben packed in working as a chef in Soho and Gabriel his city job and bought an old horse box down in Cornwall. Parked up on Ben's London driveway we put our limited DIY skills to the test turning it into our roaming kitchen, with some enthusiastic help from a kid living in the flat upstairs and to the amusement of the neighbours.

At Laffa we take inspiration from the cooking of the Levant.  The countries spanning the shores of the Eastern Mediterranean, bathed in sunshine and rich in flavours. We offers expertly flavoured salads, meat and sauces, cooking ingredients to order and piling them up in a "laffa" or flatbread to produce a herby, fragrant bundles of love. Fresh, delicious and naturally healthy.

As well as street food we cater for all kind of events, festivals, weddings, parties ect. Get in touch to find out more.
